Friday Good News - October 25th

Just wanted to take a minute and share some good news with all the fabulous INDEPENDENT LOCAL SCRAPBOOK STORE OWNERS/MANGERS. I would love to send out an email once or twice a month to share all the GOOD THINGS that are happening in our industry in regards to INDEPENDENT LOCAL SCRAPBOOK STORE OWNERS/MANGERS. So if there is something exciting happening in your little shop please share with me so we can all give a SHOUT OUT to you . . . I truly believe that by supporting each other we will just continue to make the SCRAPBOOKING/PAPER CRAFTING INDUSTRY IN ARIZONA STRONGER. With the big guys getting out of picture – let’s all rally together and give the INDEPENDENT LOCAL SCRAPBOOK STORE OWNERS/MANGERS and great big WOOOO HOOOO !!!! Let’s all gear up and support each other and have a fabulous HOLIDAY SEASON !!!!

Just wanted to send out a big congratulations to our newest Independent Local Scrapbook Store in Arizona “Family Scrapbook Studio” in Queen Creek. We have two fabulous stores getting bigger and better – SCRAPOLOGY in Gilbert is knocking out the wall and expanding and SCRAPBOOKS TO REMEMBER in Anthem is moving to a bigger and better location.

We are anxiously awaiting news for the date that the doors will open at Tucson’s newest Scrapbook Store – PAGES IN PROGRESS – opening soon!

About Memories & More in Flagstaff is celebrating their 7 year anniversary in November, Way to Go Kirsten!!

Downtown Mesa's Mystic Paper made some major renovations to their classroom this month, go in and check it out sometime and tell Kim & Jennifer "Hi".

Job well done for all of the stores that have hosted fundraisers for very worthy causes lately – hat’s off to all those that hosted Scrap Pink events – way to go!!!! And Devine Memories just finished up a fabulous fundraising Auction for Autism Awareness. Scrapbook Barn in Gilbert held an event this month to make cards for the troops on World Cardmaking Day.

The “Stay Strong” fundraiser sponsored by Rusty Pickle raised over $7,000 for the Armstrong Family. Thank you for all those who supported this event. Thank you our Scrap Therapy Friends for making such a generous donation to the Silent Auction.

Congratulations to all the Rusty Pickle winners and finalists – 9 of the 25 finalist were from Arizona - entries were from Annalis Scraptique, Scrap Happy Sisters and Keepsake Trends. Scrap Happy Sisters was the lucky store that was able to host the Pickle Parties.
